ERNEST TACKLE SHOP & MARINE -  MXLOKK has some Shimanos put over rods!

very nice rods!!!!!!!

the techniqe is very different as on put over rods one has to use a special elastic on the mono line to enable get the length right according to pole length when netting the fish!

The techniqe is very effective in mullet fishing although it's a bit complicated!

In England the technique is used for carp fishing (similar to mullet fishing in Malta)

its not a problem to elasticate the poles, as long as you can get the bits over here, if not maybe spitec can get them, i can tell him what to get, ie bungs etc and they are not expensive.

had a look at pole in the shop mentioned, not the best quality, and mega expensive, not elasticated, most poles come with elastic fitted plus spare top 2 sections, as i said in previous post 11mtr, elasticated plus, spare top 2, 40 pound sterling, if its not elasticated you would be just as well using it as a 9mtr whip, but an expensive one at that, so i will keep looking.
