Wara kollox it is the end of October and the squid should have been here for the last few days.
BTW - Robby...I did not know that kalamari are also being controlled. It's news to me, but in reality a kalamar under 11.5cm is quite small.

X'wahda din - I never knew that such a law regarding the kalamar size existed and issued in 1934 or the leagl notice of 1979. I must have been breaking the law for the last 25 years!! It is embarassing for an old guy like me.....Thanks for the info guys/ Robbby. Despite having no Kalamari around yet I shall now have to abide by the law. Oh .....FYI - today we went fishing for Lampuki, got 8 large ones, mhux hafna ta, batuta hi, brodu !!!... but landed a few Plamti and some very nice Kubritas around 2.50 kgs each. Most important we had lots of good fresh ftira biz zejt, zebbug, mint, un tonn and great company.
Out again tomorrow, fishing approx. 8 miles ENE off Hurds bank. That is approx. 18 miles off M'Scala.
