Work is for people who do not know how to fish

Lots and lots of bread. You can add "aringi" and if you manage to find the sea lettuce "hassa" and or "sellieha". The xilep is vegiterian.

Dont forget some prickly-pear (use the juice in the chum and the fibres wrapped round the hook)

bread with aringi is good but if u find 'hass' and u can try the shell(qoxra) of watermelon because it is green like 'hass'. Last summer i saw one who caught nice sized xilep on the shell of watermelon but i did not tried it yet.

@ sirena. Squash the green part of the prickly pear plant with a stone until you get at the fibres (hjut) wrap these round your hook but leave a few loose ends. Use the liquid to make your chum (ghalf). I`ve even used the liquid to knead my bread-paste (nghagen).

from any fishing tackle shop you can buy ground sardines which is excellent to use with groundbait.
